12 Animated Short Films Nominated for 2018 César Awards - Full List

The César Awards, France's top film prize, has announced its short list of 12 French films nominated for the Best Animated Short Film of 2018.

The selection was made by the 20 members of the Animation Committee of the French Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Technology. From this list, four shortlisted films will be announced on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

Prior to that announcement, 12 short films will be released on DVD, which each voting member of the Academy will receive at the end of December. Academy voters will also be able to view the films at a theatrical screening on Saturday, December 8 at Les 3 Luxembourg cinema in Paris.
