Aardman to Produce Holiday Special "Robin Robin" as First Project for Netflix

Aardman Animations, the leading British studio behind "Wallace and Gromit" and "Shaun the Sheep," has announced its first project for Netflix. Currently known projects include:

Preece for "Eagle Man Stag" and Ojari for "Slow Derek" are acclaimed stop-motion animators. They each made a name for themselves with award-winning shorts before establishing Parabella Animation Studios in London. In a departure from Aardman's signature clay animation, they use a variety of natural materials, including twigs and felt, to create Robin Robin's forest animals. The screenplay was co-written with Sam Morrison.
