Emmy Winners for 2021: Netflix's "Love, Death + Robot" Wins 4 Awards
The Television Academy has announced the juried award winners for the 73rd Emmy Awards in the animation and motion design categories.
The big winner this year is Love, Death + Robots, whose second season debuted on Netflix in May. The sci-fi anthology series has picked up four out of six individual achievement juried animation awards. Genndy Tartakovsky's action series Primal, which won three last year, has managed another award this time, for storyboard artist David Krentz. The remaining animation honor has gone to Disney legend Nik Ranieri, who is being recognized for his character layout work on The Simpsons.
The awards will be presented at the 2021 Creative Arts Awards, which will take place at L.A. Live on September 11 and 12. FXX will air an edited presentation of the ceremony on September 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
